Elmira Railway Museum
The old eastern end of the Island railway, and the trailhead of the Confederation Trail.

What to expect
Elmira was the eastern terminus of the Prince Edward Island Railway. The station is now a railway museum, and the Confederation Trail — the island-long path on the old rail bed — has its eastern trailhead here. It is an indoor-outdoor stop that works on a day when the beach is enough already, or when the wind is up at East Point. Hours are seasonal.
