Point Prim Lighthouse
A round brick lighthouse on the headland west of Wood Islands.

What to expect
Point Prim is a round brick lighthouse on a headland west of Wood Islands, in service since the 1840s. It marks the approach toward Charlottetown and is the westward end of a southeast-shore drive that begins, in the other direction, at the ferry. The tower is a different shape from the wooden lights farther east, which is reason enough to include it. Admission may apply when it is open.
