What to expect
Panmure Island is connected to the mainland by a causeway southeast of Georgetown. The lighthouse is the landmark. The provincial park adds a beach and a campground, so the stop can be an hour or a night. It is one of the better family combinations in this part of the island: a short tower visit and a swim without a second drive.
Highlights
- White-and-red wooden lighthouse
- Beach and campground on the same island
- An easy add-on from Georgetown
