What to expect
Kings Castle Provincial Park (once called Fantasyland) is a small day park in Gladstone, a short drive from Murray River. Families come for the playground and the storybook sculptures as much as the shore. There is no campground here — treat it as a couple of hours between the village and Cape Bear or Murray Harbour. Confirm current facilities before you depend on washrooms or a supervised swim.
